I am our Deacon emeritus. I was ordained in July, 2004. I retired in October
of 2024. I have served St. Peter Church for all of those years and I’ve been
a parishioner for 36 years.
My current role is unofficial. I visit folks that need support and can offer
assistance with helping to find resources for those in need. I assist at the
Altar at an occasional liturgy. I am still a homilist at funeral masses upon
request.
My wife, Colleen, and I have been married for 54 years.
We have four wonderful grandchildren that live only two houses away. We
see them every day and all day in the summer while our daughter and son in
law are at work.
I have never been so happy and satisfied as those years that I was an active
deacon. It truly changed my life.
