Rosalia Boerke

I am the assistant director of faith formation for Queen of Apostles Parish. I oversee family ministry, parent support classes, the Love Begins Here program, remedial faith formation, and serve as the liaison for Spanish-speaking parishioners. I joined the parish team in November 2022. I enjoy meeting new faith formation students and helping Spanish-speaking families. It makes me happy to share and teach the Catholic faith with the members of Queen of Apostles Parish.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and cross-stitching. I am married to my husband, Ray, and we have four children and two grandchildren. I was born in Colombia, South America, and grew up here in Madison. I attended St. Peter as a child, and all of my children attended St. Dennis School. I am a retired Spanish teacher and spent 32 years teaching middle and high school students, with the last 10 years at St. Dennis School.

I have enjoyed being part of the Queen of Apostles community for many years, and I am grateful to continue serving here.
